With the company’s primary purpose as a provider of marine based transportation services, Prestige Cruises goal is to be a support to the efforts of both the country’s Maritime and Tourism sectors.
Actual operations began in 2004 when Prestige Cruises, Inc. managed the legendary M/Y Tennessee Walker and pioneered the “Manila Bay Cruise” along the Baywalk Strip along Roxas Blvd., Manila. Since then, the company has focused on providing first-rate dining cruise experiences in Manila Bay, as well as exciting day tour packages to the historical Corregidor Island. The company also ventured into maritime transport handling Manila-Bataan and Manila-Cavite ferry services.
In 2017, the company embarked on a mission to offer Maritime Exchange Programs specifically designed for marine transportation and engineering students, along with comprehensive training opportunities for aspiring hotel and restaurant professionals. The primary objective was to equip these individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge for prospective job placements in their respective fields. Furthermore, the company has made substantial preparations to cater to tourists seeking an unforgettable seven-day island-hopping adventure. This remarkable journey encompasses stunning destinations like Corregidor Island, Lubang Island (Occidental Mindoro), and Puerto Galera (Oriental Mindoro), promising an exhilarating experience of “awakening to a new island every morning”.
The company is also an accredited transport provider of the U.S. Navy having been qualified and contracted to ferry servicemen for the USS Aircraft Carriers such as USS Carl Vinson, USS George Washington, USS John Stennis, USS Bon Homme Richard, USS Theodore Roosevelt and USS Ronald Reagan.
With the implementation of Manila Bay to be an International Crew Change Hub, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) also directed Prestige Cruises to accommodate and engage in crew change services for off-signers and on-signers.
The twenty-one (21) year track record in the ship management, Prestige Cruises allowed the company to acquire and manage several vessels in different areas of operation to support its cause. With the rise in growth of the tourism market in the Country’s capital, as well as the enlargement of industries within the provinces alongside Manila Bay, Prestige Cruises endeavors to be ready for its function in the Philippine maritime industry.
With the new office and homeport in the heart of the bustling entertainment city, The Company re-launched the MV Eagle Cruiser as the premiere dinner cruise vessel in the bay area, the MV Sea Navigator as a crew change chartered vessel, the MV Prestige One as an inter-island cruise tour of Luzon and Visayas areas and the MV Sun Cruiser One for the Corregidor Island Day tour.
The company is also expanding its scope by acquiring a seafront property in Orion, Bataan, adjacent to the Philippine Port Authority’s Passenger Terminal – Port of Capinpin. Situated within the Manila Bay area and centrally located on the Bataan peninsula, close to the thriving Mariveles Freeport and the upcoming Manila International Airport in Bulakan, Bulacan, the location offers strategic advantages for the company’s future operations.
This property presents various possibilities for the company, such as transforming it into a medium-scale Yacht Club, a small-sized shipyard, or a transshipment port. Thus, it is a valuable investment for the company’s future plans
